The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department recently received the Child Support Program Advocate Award from the Alabama Child Support Association. Shown at the award acceptance are, from left, Chief Randy King, Sheriff Mike Blakely, Kawana Boyd, Alabama Child Support Association board executive committee; Deputy Fred Sloss; Gina Garth, DHR; Bonnie Chambers, DHR; and Mindy Yeager, DHR supervisor. The Sheriff’s Department is credited with helping bring in $3 million for child support in the last fiscal year. The Limestone County Department of Human Resources submitted them for the statewide award.
