County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Matthew Daniel Allen, 21, of 841 Nesmith St. S.W., Hartselle, bond revoked on previous charges of obstructing government operations and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Cynthia Denise Jones, 39, of 722 Westmoreland, Athens, bond revoked on previous charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
• John Thomas Posey, 32, of 20840 Simpson Road, Elkmont, second-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Thirty-nine bundles of shingles, two rolls of roofing felt, box of roofing tacks and roll of flashing, total value $1,150, stolen between Nov. 4 and Monday from the 21000 block Alabama 251
• Chevrolet 350 engine and stand, total value $3,100, stolen in August from 13000 block Henderson Lane
• CD player valued at $200 stolen between Nov. 1 and Sunday from 21000 block Elkton Road
City arrests
Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Robert Lee Brown, 50, of 600 Ninth Ave., Apt. B-9, Athens, domestic violence (assault)
• Thomas Heath Jimmison, 24, of 1014 Somerest Drive, Athens, harassment
• Heather S. Snodgrass, 25, of 19975 Cox Road, Athens, possession of marijuana
• Juan Luis Trujillo, 34, of 313 N. Jefferson St., Athens, public drunkenness
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• $20 in cash, $20 purse, wallet, Alabama driver’s license, Social Security card, Citibank credit card and Reliance Bank checkbook lost Monday at Marion Street and railroad tracks

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Tuesday.
