ARREST REPORT November 13, 2009

County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Donna Jean Alston, 42, of 9083 Holt Springer Road, Athens, probation revoked on conviction for third-degree theft

• Michael Douglas, 30, of 25065 Narrow Lane, Belle Mina, harassment

• Leah Megan Eastup, 20, of 606 U.S. 31 South, Athens, violating probation on two counts of second-degree forgery (Limestone County Community Corrections)

• Thomas Earl Norvell, 25, of 25231 Alabama 251, Toney, violating probation on conviction for driving while revoked (Coffee City, Tenn., Sheriff’s Department)



County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• Two pit-bull terrier puppies valued at $1,000 stolen Tuesday from 14000 block Williams Road

• Ruger brand .44 Magnum revolver and Smith & Wesson brand .40-caliber handgun, total value $750, stolen in September 2008 from 16000 block Ford Hampton Road

• Purse with credit card, checkbook and $75 in cash stolen from vehicle Wednesday in 7000 block of Greenbrier Road

• Purse with checkbook, debit card, gold ring with diamond chips valued at $200 and cellular telephone, stolen from vehicle Wednesday in 28000 block of Wall Street



City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Donna Henry Alston, 42, of 9083 Holt Springer Road, Athens, probation revocation

• Heather Dawn White, 34, of 20548 Cox Road, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Tracy Lou Toon, 27, of 713 W. Elm St., Apt. 21, Athens, harassing communications

• Mark Dewayne Adams, 41, of 1102 Garret Drive, Athens, felony warrant from Morgan County Sheriff’s Department

• Shonique Nechelle Garner, 18, of 9595 Pecan Lane, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass

• Robert J. McKellar, 20, of 17916 Alabama 99, Athens, criminal trespass

• Paul William Hatfield, 29, of 146 Six Mile Road, Somerville, felony warrant from Morgan County Sheriff’s Department



City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• Sony brand Ipod Nano valued at $161 stolen between Nov. 4 and Saturday from 17811 Remington Drive

• Lee brand blue jeans, White Stag brand dress slacks and shirt and Just My Size brand shirt, total value $44, stolen Tuesday from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Mazda B26 and Saturn SC2 used without authorization between Oct. 1 and Tuesday at 210 Gordon St.

• Door frame valued at $100 damaged due to criminal mischief Tuesday or Wednesday at 137 Sycamore St.

• Puppy valued at $300 stolen Wednesday from 906 N. Jefferson St.

• Rear window of GMC Envoy sustained $200 damage due to criminal mischief Tuesday or Wednesday at 311 E. Lee St.

• Lonewolf brand 16-foot hydraulic utility trailer valued at $4,100 stolen between Monday and Wednesday from 1706 Elkton Road

• Exterior window sustained $10 damaged due to criminal mischief with paint Wednesday at 810 Sanders St.



Wrecks

• Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday on Alabama 251, one mile north of Athens, according to state troopers.

Larry Smith, 19, of Athens, the driver of one vehicle, was injured and wearing a seat belt, officials said. Michael Pharr, 32, of Toney, the driver of the other vehicle, was injured along with his passengers, Carol Pharr, 31; Chris Pharr, 6; and Beth Pharr, They were wearing either seat belts or were in child-restraint seats. Their conditions were not available.



Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported two admissions and one discharge Thursday.

Admitted: Lakisha Holt of Athens and Jeffrey Foster of Elkmont

Discharged: Ellen Groce of Ardmore
