Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Pedro Gaytoin Cortez, 28, of 9915 Lucas Ferry Road, Tanner, attempting to elude, public intoxication and second-degree possession of marijuana
• Richard Caleb Crowe, 20, of 26111 Dupree Hollow Road, Lester, driving under the influence
• George Harrison Ezell, 41, of 9967 New Cut Road, Athens, third-degree assault
• Rodney Oneal Watkins, 34, of 305 Vine St., Athens, violating probation on two counts of distribution of a controlled substance
• Timothy Lynn Clemmons, 26, of 17143 Dusty Road, Athens, violating probation on conviction for DUI
• Manuel Jose Veloz, 36, of 16630 Fort Hampton Road, Lot 18, Elkmont, public intoxication
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• Forty-four hydrocodone pills and two packs of cigarettes, undetermined value, stolen from a vehicle Friday in 21000 block Tillman Mill Road
• Remington brand .30-06 rifle, Toshiba brand laptop computer, jewelry box, 1-carat diamond solitaire ring and fireproof safe, total value $8,050, stolen during burglary Friday in 26000 block Harvest Road
• Cash totaling $480 stolen Friday or Saturday from 25000 block Henry Clay Drive
• Sony brand digital camera, $80 in cash, bag containing wallet with credit cards, total value $480, stolen from vehicle Friday or Saturday in 14000 block Sloan Road
• DVD player and Pioneer brand CD player, undetermined value, stolen during burglary Friday or Saturday in 29000 block Easter Ferry Road
• Utility trailer with miscellaneous steel and metals, Murray brand riding lawnmower, aluminum radiator and window air-conditioner, total value $900, stolen during burglary Saturday in 13000 block Hatchery Road
• Vizio brand 42-inch television, Envision brand 26-inch television, jewelry box with miscellaneous jewelry, Sony PlayStation 2, stereo and speakers and Panasonic brand digital camera, total value $3,350, stolen during burglary Saturday or Sunday in 25000 block Caldera Drive
• Seven and 8 DeWalt brand tile saw valued at $800 stolen Saturday or Sunday from vehicle at Country Music Barn on Sandlin Road
• 1995 Lexus stolen between Oct. 1-15 from 27000 block Miller Lane

• Jose Antonio Goytia, 27, of 810 N. Clinton St., Athens, giving false name to law-enforcement officer
• Vincent Anthony Pace, 64, unknown address, Athens, harassing communications

City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• Food valued at $20 stolen Saturday at 2185 S. Lindsay Lane
• Tennessee driver’s license, veteran identification card, insurance cards, eight Western Union money orders and $200 in cash, total value $650, stolen Friday at 309 W. Green St.
• Jewelry stolen and door damaged, total value $350, during burglary Saturday at 1700 N. Lindsay Lane
• Freightliner tractor sustained $950 damage due to vandalism Saturday at gravel lot on West Elm Street
