Anna Leigh Peek points to the slow-moving vehicle sign that is required to be on all tractors participating in Saturday’s Farm-City Antique Tractor Rally in Elkmont. The Limestone County Farmer’s Federation event will demonstrate farm safety and celebrate Farm-City Week. Federation board member Jeff Peek said organizers hope the event will revitalize interest in Farm-City Week, used as an exchange of ideas between the agriculture and industrial communities. The event includes an antique tractor parade. Unloading time is from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Wire Way Road in the industrial park on Alabama 127, just north of the crossroads. For information, call Peek at (256) 771-3422 or Stanley Usery at 431-8299.
