County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Chiquita Rene Caldwell, 32, of 800 Browns Ferry Road, Madison, three counts of violating probation on convictions for negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Rachel Machele Lovett, 43, of 17650 Brownsferry St., Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Miguel Margarito Morales, 35, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Apt. 1, Athens, public intoxication
• Rosalino Margarito Morales, 31, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Apt. 1, Athens, public intoxication
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Two 20-volt space heaters valued at $340 stolen Oct. 22 or 23 from 27000 block U.S. 72 East
• Riding lawnmower, refrigerator, fishing pole, two 55-gallon drums of cans, a 5-gallon bucket of copper and kitchen faucets, total value $380, stolen between Monday and Wednesday from 19000 block East Limestone Road
City arrests
Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Donald Elven Rickert, 21, of 14886 Ashley Way, Harvest, warrants from Florence Police Department
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Wood door and gas heater valued at $200 stolen or damaged during burglary Oct. 20 at 1001 W. Washington St.
• Seven gallons of unleaded gasoline valued at $18 stolen Wednesday from 801 S. Jefferson St.
• Food valued at $18 stolen Wednesday from 1031-A U.S. 72 East
• Passenger-side front door of Suzuki Reno sustained $500 damage due to criminal mischief Thursday at 606 U.S. 31 South
Wrecks
Louise Butler Miller, 72, of Athens was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 31 at Cactus Street, according to Athens Police.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and one discharge Thursday.
