Prisoner charged after snack attack

A Limestone County Jail prisoner will be charged with theft for allegedly stealing goodies from a snack machine near his cellblock, an official said.

Overwhelmed by his sweet tooth, Jacob Ryan Flannagan, 29, allegedly fished snacks out of a vending machine from the cellblock where he was being housed between Saturday and Tuesday, Limestone County Chief Investigator Stanley McNatt said.

Flanagan didn’t crave one particular treat.

“He took assorted candy and snacks,” McNatt said.

He will be charged with third-degree theft.
