Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Scottie Allen Barnes, 35, of 19799 Alabama 127, Athens, failure to pay child support (Lauderdale County warrant)
• Bobby Ray Carter, 61, of 16184 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, public intoxication
• Johnny Wayne Cox, 63, of 20902 Stateline Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
• Rene Gutierrez Lopez, 22, of 407 Third Ave. S.E., Decatur, second-degree forgery
• Becky Ann Maroney, 36, of 22696 Whitt St., Apt. 17, Ardmore, probation revoked on convictions for possession of prescription drugs and endangering the welfare of a child
• George Nelson Jr., 48, of 13693 Dart Circle, Athens, failure to pay child support (Morgan County warrant)
• Nicholas Matthew Schultz, 36, of 15805 Jackson Lane, Athens, DUI (drugs), no insurance and improper lane use
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• Window sustained $100 damage during burglary Wednesday in 16000 block U.S. 72 West
• 2009 Hyundai valued at $36,000 stolen Tuesday from Interstate 65 at mile marker 357
• 1988 combine and parts from another combine, total value $12,880, stolen between Oct. 1 and Tuesday from a field in 16000 block Lindsay Road
• .80-caliber High Point brand handgun valued at $140 stolen Monday or Tuesday from 22000 block Holt Road
• Copper wire of undetermined value stolen from generator between Oct. 27 and Friday from 18000 block Alabama 99
City arrests
Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Christopher Douglas Borden, 26, of 240 Empire Lane, Athens, Huntsville Police Department warrants
• David Foster Hadden, 54, of 605 U.S. 31, Room 233, Athens, loitering
• James Frank Williams, 27, of 12305 Summers Road, Athens, theft of services
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• 1988 Red Nissan pickup truck valued at $4,000 stolen Tuesday from North Jefferson Street
Wrecks
• Larry Wayne Clemons, 59, of Athens was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday at Hobbs and Clinton streets, according to Athens Police.
• Stavroula Lawrence, 55, of Bradenton, Fla., was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. Monday on Interstate 65, two miles south of Athens, according to state troopers.

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Wednesday.
