County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• David Lee Brown, 30, of 1004 Woodridge Drive, Athens, third-degree theft
• Kenneth Lynn Chandler, 53, of 17125 Coffman Road, Elkmont, third-degree assault and criminal mischief
• Tervarius Eugene Horton, 21, of 19106 Lydia Corey Road, Athens, violated probation on conviction for second-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Joe Elliot Stewart, 50, of 10433 Stewart Road, Tanner, violated probation on conviction for felony DUI
• Ashley Danielle Thomas, 28, of 29468 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, probation revoked on conviction for 13 counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Friday.
City arrests
Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Adrian Sanchez Drake, 34, of 1300 Montreat Drive, Athens, driving while revoked
• Joshua Dewayne King, 19, of 18020 Sunflower Way, Athens, no insurance
• Tiffany Dawn Johnson, 38, of 20465 Alabama 127, Athens, DUI
• Melinda Dotson Cottingham, 31, of 221 12th Ave. S.W., Decatur, arrested on a warrant with Limestone County
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• Theft of a 1990 two-door Toyota Celica, valued at $1,000, between Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 at 201 U.S. 31 South, Suite B
• Alabama license plate valued at $45.50 between Wednesday and Thursday in the Athens area
• Sixteen dollars cash taken on Thursday from 1113 W. Market St.

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Friday.
