County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Walter Ramone Collier, 36, of 18161 Sewell Road, Athens, probation revoked on convictions for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest

• Terri Lynn Hargrove, 36, of 20064 Townsend Ford Road, Lot 16, Athens, probation revoked on a conviction for possession of a controlled substance

• Allen Dean Locke, 39, of 172 Melody Circle, Harvest, driving under the influence and reckless driving

• Richard Hardy Rhone, 63, of 144 County Road 785, Uniontown, DUI

• Jayson Clinton Roberts, 39, of 1508 W. Market St., Athens, bond revoked on charges of possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

• 17-year-old female from Ardmore violated probation on conviction for second-degree theft

• Bobby Carl Swearengin, 51, of Newby Road, Lot 1, Ardmore, Tenn., violated probation on conviction for DUI

• Gene Arttory Terry Jr., 40, of 910 W. Bryan St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument



County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Television, bed and cleaning supplies, total value $514, stolen between Oct. 13 and Tuesday from 15000 block Shaw Road

• Television, laptop computer, DVD player, DVDs and DIRECTV converter box, total value $2,100, stolen during burglary Monday in 25000 block Henry Clay Drive, Madison.



City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Faron Young Rollins, 33, of 18550 Comella Way, Elkmont, warrant for Somerville Police Department

• Maricela Roman, 29, of 700 S. Clinton St., Apt. 6-P, Athens, theft of property



City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Clothing valued at $16 stolen Tuesday from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Various dollars and half dollars, including Eisenhower, Susan B. Anthony and Kennedy, as well as other coins, total value $2,098, stolen between Sept. 10 and Oct. 8 from 14695 Woodland Road



Wrecks

• A 24-year-old Rhode Island woman remained in Huntsville Hospital Wednesday after she was ejected from her vehicle during a one-vehicle accident about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 72, 10 miles east of Athens, according to state troopers. Troopers did not know the woman’s first name but her last name is Trudeau and she is from Burrillville, a trooper said. Trudeau was taken to Athens-Limestone Hospital and then flown by MedFlight helicopter to Huntsville Hospital. A hospital representative said she could not divulge Trudeau’s condition unless her first and last name was supplied. A trooper was trying to call a family member to obtain the victim’s first name. Trudeau was not wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred, a trooper said.

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Wednesday.
