A second prisoner has been charged with promoting prison contraband for trying to make an alcoholic beverage in his Limestone County jail cell, an official said.
Macy Grant Montgomery, 28, of 27094 Alabama 251 in Elkmont, was charged Tuesday.
Another man was charged with the same offense Monday.
Jailers found a bottle in his cell in which he appeared to be trying to make an alcoholic drink, said Limestone County Sheriff’s Lt. Brad Curnutt.
Montgomery was in jail on two counts of second-degree theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and 12 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, an official said.
