County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Bradley Roger Chappell, 29, of 19326 Moyer Road, Athens, driving under the influence

• Quanetta Liata Clark, 23, of 2110 Pulaski Pike, Huntsville, violated terms of probation on conviction for second-degree possession of marijuana

• Deda Michelle Graham, 37, of 26576 Nick Davis Road, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Stanely Michael Scott, 45, of 25949 Rooker Lane, Elkmont, violated terms of probation on conviction for second-degree theft

• Cody Layne Sims, 23, of 196 El Camino Drive, Harvest, violated probation on conviction for enticing a child

• Gene Arttory Terry Jr., 40, of 910 W. Bryan St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument



County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• 12-gauge pump shotgun valued at $200 stolen in September from 16000 block Parker Road

• AT&T; brand cellular telephone valued at $300 stolen Thursday at East Limestone High School

• Car tag of unknown value stolen Saturday from 20000 block East Limestone Road

• Stove and two refrigerators, total value $300, stolen between Sept. 19 and Tuesday from 35000 block George Lane



City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Angel Nicole Patterson, 24, of 19594 Alabama 99, Athens, third-degree theft of property (warrants from Muscle Shoals Police Department)



City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Sharp brand 42-inch LCD television and Dell brand laptop computer, total value $4,310, stolen during burglary Monday from 201 W. Sanderfer Road

• Sony brand cellular telephone valued at $50 stolen between Friday and Monday from 204 Coman St.

• MDX brand subwoofers valued at $400 stolen Tuesday from vehicle at 100 E. Sanderfer Road



Motorists strikes motorist pushing vehicle

• An Athens man was pushing his car along U.S. 72 West near Athens Tuesday night when his vehicle was struck by another motorist causing him injury, according to state troopers.

Jamie Elliott, 20, was struck about 9:34 p.m. at the 72 mile marker about one half mile west of Athens by a vehicle driven by Davi Lewis, 25, a state trooper said. Though wearing a seatbelt, the driver was injured. Their conditions were not available from Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Tuesday.
