ATHENS, Ala. - Busy adults wanting to complete a college degree can find out how to pay for tuition during a free information session at the Center for Lifelong Learning from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.19. Athens State University will host the FAFSA event at the Center for Lifelong Learning, 121 South Marion Street, on the square in downtown Athens.
Athens State University financial aid professionals will review the financial aid process and address questions about filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is required for students to be considered for federal and state grants, loans and scholarships at most colleges, universities and vocational/technical schools nationwide. The event is free and open to all students – regardless of what school you attend – who are seeking financial aid to pay for college expenses for the upcoming academic year.
