Residential development is showing signs of growth as Limestone County continues to rebound from the 2008 nationwide housing market crash, especially in the eastern portion of the county.
During Thursday’s regular meeting, Limestone County Commission will consider approving a 50-lot expansion of the Caldera Ridge subdivision on the west side of Newby Road in District 2.
Once the Caldera Ridge II project is approved, the county will have 47 lots under construction and 73 lots approved for 2013, compared to 45 completed and 46 approved in 2012, according to county officials.
