National Guard captain juggles dual roles

— There are 19 female generals in the U.S. Army, and Rickeisha Robinson might one day join those rarefied ranks.

For now Robinson wears the shiny silver tracks of an Alabama Army National Guard captain as she juggles dual roles as a civilian state law-enforcement agent and a military police officer.

The petite and focused 27-year-old spends several hours a week as the company commander of the Athens-based HHD 203rd Military Police Company, and at least 40 hours a week as a state Alcoholic Beverage Control agent based in Homewood.
