The Limestone County 4-H Heifer and Steer Show was held recently in conjunction with the Limestone County Cattlemen’s annual picnic at Elkmont Rural Village.
Youth competed and won awards in showmanship, heifer classes and steer classes. Dave Ficken was the judge and Ashlyn Ruf helped hand out awards. For anyone interested in becoming a member of the 4-H Beef Club, contact Pam Clark at the Limestone County Extension Office at 232-5510.
Limestone County 4-H Clubs are United Way participants. Limestone County 4-H is coordinated through the Limestone County 4-H Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
