There will be no change in Athens garbage collection during the Labor Day holiday.
Limestone County garbage collection might run a little earlier in the day than usual. Officials recommend setting garbage out the night before scheduled pickup.
City, county and state offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3.
The News Courier will also be closed.
