Continued resurfacing work on I-565 in Limestone County will require lane closures this weekend.
Weather permitting, lanes in the east and westbound side will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be at least one lane open to traffic in both directions during the project. A work zone speed limit of 50 mph will be strictly enforced.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs and use extreme caution in this area.
