ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have captured an Alabama inmate who escaped from custody.
The Department of Corrections says Montgomery police arrested 43-year-old Timothy Byrom Teague early Thursday.
The department says Teague was serving time for a previous escape conviction. He was sentenced in Madison County on Nov. 27, 2000.
While Teague was working in the capital city, he was serving his sentence at a community-based center in Alexander City.
