A proposed agenda item to allow a Huntsville-based developer to subdivide property adjacent to Lakeshore RV Resort was removed during a Wednesday work session for the Limestone County Commission.
Joel Wilson, who owns Lakeshore and Wilson Construction in Huntsville, applied for approximately two acres of his Bay Hill Village property to be subdivided into 16 lots so he could sell them to RV customers.
Lakeshore RV, which is in western Limestone County near the Tennessee River, has 14 lots on a two-acre strip of land. Some lots were sold to high-end RV owners but none of the lots have been available for rental to date.
Since Wilson’s request was removed from the preliminary agenda, it will not be considered during Tuesday’s regular meeting. Technically the commission did not table the measure because the item had not been added to the regular agenda.
