— FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — Two brothers sought after a slaying in northwest Alabama have been captured in Tallahassee, Fla.
Authorities say federal agents arrested 24-year-old Shannon Paul Brewer of Florence and 25-year-old Jerry Lee Brewer of Sheffield.
Lauderdale County Sheriff Ronnie Willis says Shannon Brewer is a suspect in the stabbing death of 49-year-old Mark Dishon. A woman who lives at the home also was injured in the attack, which was reported Monday night.
Willis says investigators believe the other brother also was involved, but not in the attack itself.
Investigators believe the victims knew the attackers.
