Tracking dogs from Limestone Correctional Facility failed to get their man Monday.
Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely said the dogs failed to pick up the scent of an alleged burglar.
A woman on Will Braden Circle in the Capshaw community told authorities she saw a man running from her garage when she came home about 11 a.m. Monday. She noticed some of her jewelry missing.
Sheriff’s deputies, as well as searchers in the sheriff's helicopter, didn’t turn up a suspect.
