County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Thomas Eugene Boldin, 28, of 443 Golightly Road, Toney, was arrested for failure to pay child support and driving under the influence.
• Amber Rose Butler, 43, of 1801 Blue Springs Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance.
• Kenneth DeWayne Emerson, 45, of 23733 Pressnell Road, Athens, bond revocation for breaking and entering a vehicle.
• Logan DeWayne Frost, 19, 22018 Fain Road, Elkmont, second-degree illegal possession of marijuana.
• Nickie Gene Haggermaker, 30, of 23831 Pepper Farm Lane, Elkmont, DUI.
• Beverly Darlene Moore, 48, of 1819 Corrine Ave., SW, Decatur, three counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument and three counts of third-degree theft.
• Jason Dale Vibbert, 26, of 31418 Reid Road, Athens, probation violation for reckless endangerment.
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Six boxes of miscellaneous items of undetermined value were taken between Feb. 1 and Tuesday from Bethel Mini Storage on Alabama 251.
• A 1999 Pontiac Sunfire valued at $4,500 and 40 Xanax pills were taken Tuesday or Wednesday from the 10000 block of Country Corner Road. Investigator Eric King recovered the stolen car and arrested John David Polk, 22, of 28266 West Limestone School Road, Lester. Polk is charged with first-degree theft.
• A 30-gallon drum containing Roundup Power Mix valued at $1,500 was taken Tuesday or Wednesday from the 19000 block of Moyers Road.
• Two steel chainsaws and miscellaneous hand tools valued at $2,100 were taken Tuesday or Wednesday from the 6000 block of Fred Bates Road.
• $76.15 in merchandise was taken Tuesday from the Elkmont Dollar General on Alabama 127. Jennifer Lynne Hastings was arrested and charged with third-degree theft in connection with the crime.
• A 5-month-old female English bulldog valued at $500 and seven Xanax pills were taken Wednesday from the14000 block of Elk River Mills Road.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the follow arrests Thursday:
• William Rodney Britton, 43, of 21840 Daveen Drive, Elkmont, bond revocation.
• Tommie Williams, 43, 140 Ervin Lane, Madison, arrested on outstanding warrant from Morgan County for possession of a controlled substance.
• Randall William Pace, 42, of 12711 Vanzille Lane, Athens, on warrant for Madison Police.
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• A Super Steel tire valued at $75 on a Pontiac Grand Prix on Elm Street was damaged by criminal mischief Tuesday.
Wrecks
• Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on Pettusville Road, two miles north of Elkmont, according to a State Trooper. Injured were Summer McNatt, 29, of Athens, the driver of a 2004 Nissan and her passengers, Kayla McNatt, 8, of Athens and Montana Crowe, 8, of Elkmont. All three were wearing seat belts. Shawn Simmons, 18, Pulaski, Tenn., the driver the second vehicle, was not injured.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported one admission and no discharges Thursday.
