Vandals target road signs near Elkmont


Limestone County authorities could use some information about the theft and vandalism of some road signs in the Elkmont area.

According to Limestone County Chief Investigator Stanley McNatt, sometime before Wednesday, stop signs were stolen from Hays Mill Road and Upper Fort Hampton Road and from Fort Hampton Road and Veto Road; a street-name sign was stolen from Black Road; and signs were spray-painted on Upper Fort Hampton Road and Pettusville Road.

The property damage and loss totals $300 for Limestone County District 1.
