— HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — One person has been wounded in a shooting in Madison County.
The Huntsville Times (http://bit.ly/Ofn59S ) reports the shooting happened early Saturday morning on U.S. 72 East near Ryland Park. The victim was shot in the leg and taken to Huntsville Hospital. The victim's name was not immediately released.
Police said the case remains under investigation.

A man from West was killed Thursday when he drowned after his lawn mower tipped over into a pond.
