Limestone County has announced the following changes for garbage pickup for New Year's week:
• Monday, Dec. 31, regular schedule
• Tuesday, Jan. 1, closed
• Wednesday, Jan. 2, Tuesday's route
• Thursday, Jan. 3, Wednesday's route
• Friday, Jan. 4, Thursday's route
• Saturday, Jan. 5, Friday's route
All routes will run early. Residents are asked to place their garbage out the night before their scheduled pickup.
There are no changes to the regular Athens city garbage pickup schedules.
