The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Christopher Bennett Casey, 22, of 14576 Mooresville Road, Athens, failure to pay child support
• Guy Aaron Clegg, 44, of 1217 Ramplehill Road, Athens, Ga., second-degree theft deception
• Rickey Lynn Griffin, 51, of 22555 Fain Road, Elkmont, DUI
• Timothy Alan Johnson, 49, of 28402 Capshaw Road, Harvest, two counts of third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
• Timothy John Lima, 39, of 2600 Donald Road, Apt. B, West Palm Beach, Fla., first-degree sexual abuse
• Aristeo Jeronimo Morales, 21, of 105 Clayton Road, Ardmore, Tenn., DUI and no insurance
• Daniel Monroe Newell, 39, of 17392 Sudbury Drive, Athens, DUI and open container of alcohol
• John Coleman Pipkin, 27, of 14448 Bledsoe Road, Apt. F12, Athens, second-degree theft and fraudulent use of a debit card
• Vidal Demond Scruggs, 36, of 1635 Carrol Road, Harvest, DUI
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• One .22-caliber revolver stolen between July 13 and July 23 from the Piney Chapel Trailer Park
• One Samsung cell phone and a set of car keys, total value $150, stolen Friday from the 13000 block of Dart Circle
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Wayne Donald Davis, 39, of 11436 Caroline Drive, Tanner, criminal trespassing
• Adam Wesley Stephenson, 25, of 932 Aqua Vista Drive, Killen, DUI
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• One glass window valued at $100 was damaged in criminal mischief Thursday at 307 Colbert St.
• One Toyo brand low profile car tire valued at $100 damaged in criminal mischief Friday at 401 S. Houston St.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and one discharge Friday.
Discharged was Mary Bass of Athens.
