The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Lauren Elaine Ater, 23, of 102 Steele Drive, Madison, driving under the influence and speeding
• Crystal Kyle Carter, 32, of 28739 Alabama 127, Elkmont, harassing communications
• Cindy Lynn Hargrove, 37, of 25837 Highland Ave., Elkmont, public intoxication (drugs)
• Donnie Clay Johnson, 33, of 28739 Alabama 127, Elkmont, harassing communications
• Guillermo Nava, 35, of 15890 Evans Road, Athens, DUI
• Roxanne Dee Patten, 38, of 323 Spring Valley Court, Huntsville, six counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, third-degree receiving stolen property and giving false name to law-enforcement officer
• Mark Lynn Powers, 47, of 14894 Zehner Road, Athens, second-degree theft and second-degree forgery
• Margaret Kathrine Schrimsher, 18, of 26011 Capshaw Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
• Mildred Mitchell Shaffer, 67, of 19628 Riverside Drive, Athens, DUI (drugs)
• Ashley Brett Sims, 46, of 18481 Belmont Circle, Athens, third-degree assault
• Scott Mitchell Wyatt, 23, of 115 Lakecrest Drive, Madison, violated probation on possession of a controlled substance
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• A four-horsepower 1964 Evinrude brand boat motor valued at $400 stolen between June 1 and July in the 6000 block of Turtle Bay Way
• Blackberry cell phone, Ray-Ban sunglasses, 400-watt Sony amp, two 12-inch speakers and $100 cash, total value of $925, taken Tuesday during vehicle breaking and entering on Snake Road

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Lindsey Nicole Frost, 25, of 18223 Circle Drive, Athens, bond on DUI revoked
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• Suit pants and jacket valued at $175 stolen Sunday or Monday from 1218 Kelli Drive, Room 115
• $100 damage to paint on GMC 3500 due to criminal mischief between Friday and Monday at 203 N. Jefferson St.
• Ladder, extension cord and motor oil valued at $58 stolen Monday or Tuesday from 18007 Edgewood Road
• CD player valued at $100 stolen Tuesday from vehicle at U.S. 72 and Brownsferry Street
• 84 Xanax valued at $20 and $50 in cash stolen Tuesday from 13222 U.S. 31 South
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Wednesday.
