County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Richard Nicholas Bowman, 48, of 2424 Lakegrove Drive, Petoskey, Mich., public intoxication
• Crystal Kyle Carter, 32, of 28725 Alabama 127, Elkmont, third-degree theft
• April Dawn Gentry, 33, of 29826 Ardmore Ave., Ardmore, possession of controlled substance
• Linda Gale Journey, 40, of 26892 Holmes St., Ardmore, DUI, improper lane use and open container
• Patricia Gail Kelley, 19, of 3209 Juliette Road, Lot 5B, Juliette, Ga., third-degree burglary
• Brenda Kay Kretchmar, 50, of 27825 Wooley Springs Road, Athens, two counts of third-degree domestic violence (harassment and menacing)
• Manuel Theodore Martinez, 29, of 23810 Norman Lane, Elkmont, bond revoked on first-degree sexual abuse
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday.
• $6 in coin stolen between June 23 and Monday from the 14000 block of Shaw Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Garry Moore, 55, of 815 Acorn Hill Circle, Athens, menacing; accused of threatening a man with a gun
• Barry Walter Miller Jr., 34, of 25835 Mooresville Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance and breaking and entering a vehicle
• Pablo Lopez Feria, 28, of 907 First Ave., Athens, driving under the influence
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• 2001 black Ford Expedition valued at $18,000 stolen Tuesday from 845 W. Strain Road
• Seven rings, total value $1,850, stolen Tuesday from 3635 Luke St.
• North Face brand jacket valued at $165 shoplifted Tuesday from 215 W. Washington St.
Wrecks
• Joseph Daniel Bridges, 24, of Florence was injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on U.S. 72 at Brownsferry and Schilling streets, according to Athens Police. His condition was not available.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Wednesday.
