The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Michael Tavaras Lockett, 31, of 2100 S. Hine St., Athens, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a short-barreled shotgun
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Newspaper rack valued at $1,500 stolen Monday or Tuesday from George’s Country Store in the 14000 block of New Cut Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Sonya McGrew, 41, of 1203 W. Washington St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence
• Perry Napoleon Harris, 41, of 110 Thomas St., Athens, disorderly conduct
• Kendall Ladon Blue, 26, of 302 McBeth St., Athens, violated probation on driving under the influence
• Justin Labron Slaughter, 27, of 609 Acorn Hill, Athens, criminal trespass
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Car windshield valued at $500 shattered due to criminal mischief Monday at 118 Ash St.
• Mailbox and driveway lights, total value $100, damaged by motorcyclist Monday at 1616 Fifth Ave.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Tuesday.
