All Athens city and Limestone County government offices will be closed on Friday for the Fourth of July holiday.
However, there will be no interruption in garbage pickup for either the city or county.
There will also be no U.S. Mail delivery on Saturday.
The News Courier front office will be closed on Friday to allow our employees a chance to celebrate the long holiday weekend.
