County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Lewell Clayton Klavren Cowan, 43, of 804 N. Madison St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Amanda Carol Gabhart, 25, of 26589 Sixth St., Ardmore, three counts of chemical endangerment of a child

• Larry Joe Gabhart, 24, of 29458 Lakeview Drive, Ardmore, three counts of chemical endangerment of a child

• Erik Meals Gordon, 36, of 29595 Bethel Road, Toney, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Adria Eve McGraw, 36, of 18688 Townsend Ford Road, Athens, second-degree criminal mischief

• Joshua James Montgomery, 21, of 22094 Compton Road, Athens, violated probation on second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Rebecka Lynn Napier, 30, of 4127 Fourth Ave., Birmingham, violated probation on fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree theft

• Janice Goldden Pylant, 36, of 22707 Piney Chapel Road, Apt. 8, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Jason Paul Shivers, 28, of 29354 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Marcus Eugene Turner, 34, of 3054 Boswell Drive, Huntsville, failure to pay child support (sentenced to 100 days)

• Phillip Edward Wright, 44, of 26440 Grady Lane, Ardmore, violated probation on resisting arrest and third-degree domestic violence (assault)



County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Makita brand circular saw and hand sander, total value $175, stolen between April and Monday from the 11000 block of Cowford Road

• $25 cash stolen Thursday during a burglary in the 14000 block of U.S. 72 West

• Three-wheeled bicycle and John Deere cart, total value $200, stolen Thursday from the 26000 block of Thatch Road



City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Fredy Vasconcelo Rodriguez, 24, of 191286 Windsox Place, Elkmont, probation violation

• Jennifer Michelle Schroader, 33, of 500 Elkton St., Apt. G-12, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Hugo Mendiola Rosalino, 28, of 608 Sanders St., Athens, possession of marijuana



City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Garmin brand global-positioning system, pair of sunglasses, purse, keys, debit card, driver’s license and Social Security card, total value $165, stolen Friday from 22122 Indian Trace Road

• Vehicle registration of undetermined value stolen Friday from 22508 Indian Trace Road



Wrecks

• Skyler Mathew Gant, 15, of Elkmont was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:11 p.m. Thursday on Alabama 127 at Airport Road, according to Athens Police. Gant was a passenger in one of the vehicles. His condition was not available.

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Friday.
