County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Adam Ross Allaway, 24, of 23467 Nick Davis Road, reckless endangerment.
• Kevin Eugene Barbour, 22, of 19260 Airfield St., Lot 62, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment).
• James Harold Bingham Jr., 51, of 29761 Third Ave., Ardmore, second-degree sex abuse.
• Brandy Leigh Craft, 26, of 12772 Hickory Hills, Athens, first-degree manufacturing a controlled substance.
• Thomas Paul Kanieski, 21, of 1308 Tommy Lane, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, reckless driving.
• Donald Joe Patrick, 42, of Lukers Way, Apt. 2R, Athens, first-degree manufacturing a controlled substance, second-degree illegal possession of marijuana.
• José Luis Sanchez, 26, of 4001 Hunter Ridge Drive No. 9, Huntsville, DUI, speeding, no driver’s license.
• Courtney Danielle Smith, two counts of third-degree burglary.
• Michael Ray Williams, 50, 19259 Runway St., Athens, probation violation.
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• $1,018 in cash was taken between November and Dec. 23, 2008 from the 19000 block of Alabama 127.
• Weedeater valued at $50 was taken from the 1100 block of Nancy Lane Saturday.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Joseph E. Haggermaker, 35, of 705 Sixth Ave., Athens, harassment.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and two discharges Tuesday.
Discharged: Linda Nance and Robert Holt, both of Athens.
Admissions and discharges represent only those who agree to have their names published.

The Limestone County Commission and Athens City Council approved a host of incentives Monday for Pennsylvania steel company Carpenter Technology Corporation, which plans to construct a facility off U.S. 31 just north of Calhoun Community College.
