The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Frances Mark Croshaw, 52, of 27915 Old Miller Road, Ardmore, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Ronaldo Deleon, 25, of 310 Shaw St., Athens, public intoxication

• Alejandro Leon Luna, 34, of Central Parkway, Apt. 17, Decatur, driving under the influence, speeding and no driver’s license

• Leobardo Canno Romero, 47, of 14677 Blackburn Road, Athens, possession of prohibited liquor

• Billy Doyl Rouse, 61, of 21027 Harris Road, Athens, DUI

• Micheal Glenn Phillips, 35, of 24574 Cotton Belt Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (assault)



County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Sony brand compact disc player valued at $250 stolen Thursday or Friday from a vehicle in the 18000 block of Alabama 99

• $100 stolen Friday from the 17000 block of Blackburn Road

• Compact disc player valued at $250 stolen Thursday or Friday from a vehicle in the 16000 block of East Limestone Road

• $400 cash, 9-milimeter handgun and .38-caliber derringer, total value $750, stolen Thursday or Friday from the 18000 block of Alabama 99

• 1998 Honda Accord of undetermined value stolen Saturday from the 14000 block of Bell Road

• Phillips brand DVD player and television remote control valued at $325 stolen between Wednesday and Saturday from the 29000 block of Pulaski Pike

• Cellular telephone charger valued at $9 stolen Saturday from the 20000 block of Swanner Boulevard

• Harrington & Richardson brand 22-caliber handgun valued at $150 stolen Saturday from the 29000 block of Easter Ferry Road

• Gray toolbox with tools and Sony brand stereo, total value $1,900, stolen Sunday from vehicle



City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Kimberly Faye Baker, 48, of 810 Sanders St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance; Officer Brandon Colburn arrested her at a traffic stop with three pills – two hydrocodone painkillers and one carisoprodol muscle relaxer

• Linda McEntire Counihan, 68, of 511 S. Clinton St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (simple assault)

• Bernard Issac Downing, 29, of 122 Browstone Drive, Madison, fraudulent use of a credit card

• Andre Lezar Franklin, 23, of 5126 Welch Drive, Athens, probation on second-degree possession of marijuana revoked

• Rohn Everett Pruett, 55, of 1325 U.S. 31 South, Athens, public intoxication

• Johnny Wayne Ruffin, 42, of 109 Cedar St., Athens, third-degree assault

• Timothy Lamont Townsend, 42, of 14971 Brownsferry St., Athens, DUI

• Ramon Veleta, 48, of 515 Birch St., Pulaski, Tenn., DUI



City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• $290 cash stolen Thursday or Friday from Bomar Inn, Room 160, at 1101 U.S. 31 South

• Fruit of the Loom brand T-shirts and boxer shorts valued at $14 stolen Saturday from Dollar General at 17837 U.S. 72 West



Wrecks

• Driver Patrick King, 16, of Athens was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:01 a.m. Friday on U.S. 72 West at Jefferson Street, according to Athens Police. King was treated at Athens-Limestone Hospital and released.

• Driver Shirley Ann Houser, 75, of Athens and driver Rodger D. Wittig, 29, of Madison were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:48 a.m. Friday on Forrest Street near Clinton Street, according to Athens Police. Houser was transferred from Athens-Limestone Hospital to another facility. Wittig was treated at Athens-Limestone Hospital and released.



Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and two discharges Monday.

Discharged: Cora Phillips and Gail Ultz, both of Athens
