County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Jennifer Marie Frazier, 33, of 1033 Bell Meade Ave., Florence, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Wilbur C. Steele, 63, of 1242, Beltline Road, Apt. 1, Decatur, driving under the influence
• Randall Lamar McCafferty, 47, of 25626 Bethel Road, Elkmont, DUI, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of prohibited liquor
• Salvador Tellez Rios, 20, of 20227 Holt Road, Athens, public intoxication
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• $50 cash stolen from employee’s purse Sunday at Piggly Wiggly in Elkmont
• Alabama license plate of undetermined value stolen between May 31 and June 5 from Wooley Springs and South roads
• Lock box stolen during burglary Thursday or Friday at home for sale in the 24000 block of Bain Road
• One Alpine pygmy goat valued at $75 stolen Thursday or Friday from the 29000 block of Chipmunk Way
• Burglary occurred sometimes Friday or Saturday in the 13000 block of Hatchett Road; nothing taken
• $50 cash, television, DVD player and DVDs of undetermined value stolen during a burglary Sunday in the 20000 block of Holt Road
• 1988 Ford truck valued at $3,000 stolen Sunday from 18000 block of Ingram Road; recovered later in a wheat field down the road from owner’s house.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Bradley Joe Carter, 43, 11515 Neely Road, Athens, conspiracy to commit controlled substance crime; accused of altering the strength of a prescription
• Timothy Earl Combs, 43, no address listed, violated Community Notification Act by moving without notifying law-enforcement; required to registered as sex offender and report address after conviction for first-degree sexual abuse of 9-year-old girl
• David Jacobs, 43, of 1401 N. Malone St., Apt. 108, Athens, third-degree domestic violence
• William Hyatt Jeffers, 42, of 210 County Road 426, Killen, DUI
• Jason Albert Johnson, 20, of 10420 U.S. 31 South, Lot 435, Tanner, violated parole on possession of marijuana
• Christopher Kennyatte King, 35, of 17982 Collins St., Athens, DUI
• Bernardo Santiago Martin, 20, of Cardinal Drive, Apt. 4, Decatur, theft of property
• Donna Scott McGuire, 44, of 11718 U.S. 72 West, Athens, conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime; accused of altering the strength of a prescription
• Miguel Pascual Mendez, 26, of 1009 Towerview St., Decatur, theft of property
• Sherry Lynn Phillips, 40, of 306 School St., St. Joseph, Tenn., second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance
• Adolfo Damian Reyes, 40, of Airfield Street, Lot 64, Athens, DUI
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• 12-pack of Bud Light brand beer valued at $11 stolen Saturday from 1100 U.S. 72
• Grey Nokia brand cellular telephone valued at $50 stolen Saturday from 100 U.S. 31 South, Suite E.
• Chevrolet Impala and a Uniroyal brand Tiger Paw tire sustained $200 damage Saturday or Sunday at 101 Bates St.
• 1996 Monarch brand boat and 20-horsepower Mercury outboard motor valued at $1,000 stolen Saturday or Sunday from J&R; Truck Sales at 17486 U.S. 72 West
• Compact disc valued at $9 stolen Sunday from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 West
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported two admissions and one discharge Monday.
Admitted: Bobby Moore and Madge Webb, both of Athens
Discharged: Patsy Hill of Lester
