County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Debbie Lee Burns, 47, of 29080 Easter Ferry Road, Lester, DUI and no insurance
• Edwin Rolando Gonzalez Jr., 19, of 3621 McVay St., Huntsville, reckless endangerment and third-degree receiving stolen property
• Jamie Eugene Rose, 33, of 16957 Huntsville-Brown Ferry Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• Black and tan German Shepherd valued at $1,000 stolen between May 1-2 from the 18000 block of Sulfur Creek Drive
• Troybilt brand mower and gasoline can valued at $200 stolen between May 7 and Friday from the 27000 block of Easter Ferry Road
• Three window units and an outside air-conditioning unit, refrigerator, computer and miscellaneous jewelry, no dollar amount listed, stolen during a burglary Tuesday in the 13000 block of Hatchett Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Luis Revedo Acevedo, 31, of 409 Sixth Ave. N.W., Decatur, sentenced to 60 days or $892
for speeding, no driver’s license, no insurance and switched tag
• Alberto Gonzalez Huerta, 30,of 19260 Airfield St., Lot 74, Athens, no driver’s license
• Domingo Castro Gutierrez, 24, of 703 Fifth Ave., Athens, domestic violence (harassment)
• Christopher Ryan Mason, 22, of 534 Buddy Williamson Road, New Market, sentenced to five days in jail for contempt of court
• Jose Corona Morales, 24, of 515 Brownsferry St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• Ladies 14-karat gold ring valued at $4,968 stolen between Jan. 1 and Monday from 905 Brahma St.
• RCA brand 32-inch, flat-screen television and two door frames, total value $650, stolen or damaged between Sunday and Thursday during a burglary at 205 Sunset Drive
• Painted and engraved concrete bench valued at $200 stolen Wednesday or Thursday from U.S. 31
• Brown wallet worth $20 and containing $15 stolen Thursday from 500 Elkton St., B-13

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Friday.
