County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Michael Bryant Cannon, 20, of 206 A. Campbell Drive, Athens, first-degree theft of property (grand jury indictment)
• Danny Ray Cobb Jr., 26, of 28521 Persimmon Tree Road, Anderson, one count of violating terms of probation on two counts of third-degree burglary
• Rodolfo Gregorio Rosario, 22, of 509 Sanders St., Athens, surety rescinds bonds on counts of third-degree domestic violence (assault) and giving false name to law-enforcement officer
• Kimberly Wilson Sprague, 41, of 1901 Greenbrier Road, Florence, two counts of identity theft (grand jury indictment)
• Bruce Wayne Stubbs, 26, of 21609 Hays Mill Road, Elkmont, one count of third-degree burglary and one count of violating the terms of probation on third-degree promoting prison contraband (grand jury indictment)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• One Highpoint brand 9 mm handgun valued at $250 stolen during a vehicle break-in Sunday or Monday in the 26000 block of Johnson Lane
• One Browning .270-caliber rifle with a scope and a .30-30 caliber Winchester rifle with a scope, total value $800, stolen during a burglary Monday in the 21000 block of Holt Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Dana Nicole Colby, 22, of 162 Glengarry Drive, Lacey’s Spring, third-degree theft of property
• Bobby Edward Cobb, 49, of 262 W. Limestone Road, Hazel Green, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft of property (grand jury indictments)
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Cash, Alabama driver’s license, insurance card, Kohl’s credit card, Visa credit card, Motorola cellular telephone, checkbook and black and white wallet, total value $175, stolen Sunday during a vehicle break-in at 507 S. Hoffman St.
• Ten pounds of pecans, one sweater, two pairs of pants, six shirts and one Echo brand string trimmer, total value $315, stolen during burglary at 1304 Grace Ave. on March 16
• Craftsman brand ratchet handle, American Arms brand .22-caliber target pistol, Kel Tec brand .380-caliber handgun with Teflon finish, belt clip and finger grip, total value $860, stolen from vehicle at unknown location between March 1-5
• Cash and .380-caliber Highpoint brand handgun, total value $400, stolen during burglary Monday at 1418 E. Elm St., 5-D
