County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Courtney Terrell Allen, 28, of 20434 Nuclear Plant Road, Tanner, failure to pay child support.
• Charles Edward Carter, 50, of 16330 Witty Mill Road, Elkmont, public intoxication.
• William Heath Case, 37, of 14620 Court St., Moulton, switched tag.
• Leigh Anne Ford, 36, of 270 James K. Taylor Lane, Meridianville, two counts negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.
• Misty Marie Gatlin, 24, of 17095 Dusty Road Way, Athens, bond revocation.
• Dameon Laneal Moore, 22, of 807 Irvin St., Athens, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree illegal possession of marijuana.
• Lisa Michelle Poss, 36, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.
• Juan Garcia Rocha, 48, of 15109 York Lane, Athens, third-degree domestic violence.
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• A Bosch SawZall, various gauges, toolbox with miscellaneous tools, and a Highpoint .380 handgun valued at $2,398 were taken between Saturday and Monday from the 16000 block of Zehner Road.
• $300 in cash was taken Saturday from the 30000 block of U.S. 72.
• A lock was broken from a rack and 12 propane tanks valued at $480 were taken between Saturday and Monday from Elkmont Deli on Thatch Road.
• Someone broke into a camper on U.S. 31 while the owner was away and took a TV, DVDs and clothing valued at $120. The items were found in the woods nearby.
• A Dell computer, Wii system, DVD player, chainsaw and $5,000 in jewelry — including diamond earrings, a pearl necklace, gold chains and others — were taken Monday from the 25000 block of Putman Circle.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Tara Chantel Craig, 37, of 2099 Booker Drive, Athens, harassment
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• A Pontiac Bonneville and $200 cash were taken in a third-degree theft by deception between Feb. 28 and March 2, and a Toyota Camry valued at $3,800 was stolen between Jan. 20 and March 2, all at Athens Auto and Tire, 306 5th Ave.
• One PlayStation 3 valued at $399 on March 2 from 1011 U.S. 72 West.
