County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Elijah Gay Joe Barnes, 20, of 707 Horton St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance
• Charles Andrew Brooks, 23, of 8871 County Road 214, Trinity, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Justin Ray Dempsey, 21, of 1001 Frazier St., Athens, second-degree theft and criminal trespass (warrants from Bedford County, Tenn., Sheriff’s Department)
• Darlene Lynn French, 43, of 11435 Caroline Drive, Apt. 504, Tanner, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Brandon Lee Jackson, 30, of 27924 Snap Devin Way, Toney, second-degree forgery
• David Nicholas Mobley, 29, of 124 Grayson Ave., Madison, third-degree theft by deception
• Richard Brandon Payne, 26, of 24780 Elkton Road, Elkmont, harassing communications and third-degree domestic violence (menacing)
• Warren Fitzgerald White Jr., 20, of 2102 Stanford St., Athens, criminal mischief, first-degree possession of marijuana and attempting to elude
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday.
• Rings, watches and other jewelry valued at $4,500 stolen Jan. 17 from the 19000 block of Huntsville Browns Ferry Road
• One box of antique Christmas ornaments valued at $1,200 stolen Monday from the 21000 block of Piney Chapel Road
• $200 cash and one Regions debit card stolen between Friday and Monday from the 24000 block of Cotton Belt Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Rogelio Lopez Guittierez, 28, of 1007 Fifth Ave., Apt. B, Athens, criminal mischief and menacing
• Michelle Lynn Tubbs, 34, of 407 S. Hine St., Athens, third-degree theft of property
• Donald Wayne Dailey, 55, of 1004 Somerest Drive, Athens, third-degree domestic violence
• Ron Stanley, 51, of 101 Scotland Drive, Athens, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct
• David Allen Marrazzo, 23, of 1509 Grace Ave., Athens, DUI and possession of a controlled substance
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Children’s shirts, pants, pajamas and two other clothing items, total value $81, stolen Monday from 104 U.S. 31 North
• $10 in gasoline stolen Monday from 801 S. Jefferson St.
Wrecks
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported one admission and no discharges Tuesday.
Admitted was Mildred Paulk of Athens
