The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Melony Carol Cook, 40, of 14150 Bell Road, Athens, harassing communications
• Larry Eugene Dunham, 59, of 2909 Lafayette Circle, Huntsville, probation violation (felony driving under the influence)
• Bryan Christopher McNeese, 29, of 14169 Hunter Road, Harvest, probation violation (reckless endangerment)
• Eric Lamar Moore, 32, of 1809 Olive St. S.E., Decatur, two count of failure to pay child support
• Steve Elmer Earl Stanley, 19, of 1303 Elm St., Lot 1, Athens, DUI
• Jeffrey Dewayne Steele, 39, of 925 Sparkman St., Apt. 10, Hartselle, DUI and reckless driving
• Nancy Lillian Swearengin, 53, of 21735 Rochelle Road, Athens, third-degree theft by deception (surety off bond)
• Tanya Irene Turner, 28, of 22875 Cairo Hollow Road, Athens, probation violation (second-degree possession of a forged instrument)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Smith & Wesson 22-caliber handgun and an Olympus brand digital camera, total value $400, stolen during a burglary in the 27000 block of Capshaw Road
• Two cellular telephones valued at $300 stolen from a vehicle parked in the 23000 block of Alabama 99 on Sept. 11 or 12

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Lanoma W. Browning, 36, of 706 S. Lincoln Ave., Fayetteville, Tenn., third-degree theft of property
• Danielle Bailey Shores, 19, of 17697 Jeffrey St., Athens, parole violation/revocation
• Andrew Scott Strasser, 18, of 404 Camelot Drive, Athens, falsely reporting incident
• Wendi Hill Bratcher, 34, of 12100 Two Rivers Drive, Athens, DUI
• Erskine D. Hiott, 51, of 19411 Sandlin Road, Elkmont, DUI
• Cassandra Michele Dabbs, 24, of 19587 Holt Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• $791 in natural gas, water and utilities stolen from 1009 W. Pryor St. between April 15 and July 27
Wrecks
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and one discharge Thursday.
Discharged was Janice Flanagan of Elkmont
