Send illegals home
Dear Editor:
I had a reason to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement this past November to file what I felt was a wrong due to the employer I was working for keeping illegals and letting me go after five years.
I was told when the agent from Birmingham called that they would be checking it out but would not state how soon due to the lack of ICE agents.
We are in the highest unemployment rate in decades and we have a bunch of (I just can't describe them and get printed) in our government. Why would they not hire more ICE agents and put them to work sending the illegals back to where they belong? If they really want to create jobs this is one way of doing it.
Politics today remind me of being on the farm with cattle, sheep, hogs, and chickens. When I would go back inside the backdoor, Mom would say get those shoes off you have manure on them. She didn't say cow manure or pig manure she just stated manure. That's the way I look at Republicans and Democrats today. Just one big pile of manure.
Sincerely,
John Babb

I have never heard so many outright lies, propaganda put out trying to brainwash the middle class into voting for them again in order for them to make janitors out of our children and low paid slaves out of everyone else.

Your vote can help
Dear Editor:
I am very pleased that the mayor, after the last City Council meeting, has emphatically assured me that there will be no changes in the fire codes or city ordinances regardless of who requests it.
On to a new subject — politics. Our nation is full of suffering, angry, people who need somebody to blame for their pain. - Letter to the Editor 11/20/11
