PELHAM, Ala. (AP) — The popular jam band Phish has an alternative for music fans who couldn't get a ticket to its show in metro Birmingham on Friday.
The band plans to show a live webcast of the sold-out concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham. Not that it's free: Viewing the show in high definition will cost $15.
A similar webcast of three Phish shows in San Francisco was available online.
Phish hasn't performed in the Birmingham area since 1999.
All Access will be competing with Spotify, Rhapsody, Pandora and other popular music services. Apple, the biggest seller of online music, does not have a subscription-based service.
