Randy and Angela Dotson of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Elane Dotson to Terry Clint Hart, son of Clint and Candie Hart of Waterloo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mae Peebles of Athens and Douglas and Ann Dotson of Elkmont and the late Harlin Peebles.
She is a graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Lola Hart of Smithville, Tenn., and the late James Hart, Betty Winsted and Jimmy Winsted.
He is a graduate of Waterloo High School.
He is employed by the city of Florence.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 10 at New Garden Pentecostal Church in Elkmont.
