Tammy Tucker and Allen Sutton of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Wendy Michelle Sutton to Benjamin Scott Clinard son of Mike and Maria Clinard.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Neal Sutton of Decatur and Joyce “Reba” Cooley of Athens, the late Dell Sutton and Calvin Cooley.
She is a 2001 graduate of Clements High School. She is employed at Blockbuster Video as a store manager.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Nell Pittman of Athens and the late W. T. Clinard.
He is a 1999 graduate of Athens High School.
He is employed by Papa John’s Pizza as a training store manager.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 17, 2009, at The Popular Place in Athens.
