Victor and Lorranie Duncan of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Rebecca Michelle Duncan of Athens to Nick Chessley Mealer of Ardmore, son of Nicky and Liz Mealer of Ardmore.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Don and Ellie Frost, Bill Duncan, all of Athens, and Mary Duncan of Harvest.
She is a 2000 graduate of Athens High School. She is employed by Smith Enterprises Inc., as a sales representative.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mahlon and Goldie Garner, and the late Carter and Wilma Lois Mealer.
He is a 1998 graduate of Ardmore High School. He is employed by International Diesel as a machinist.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 25, 2009, at Madelyn’s In The Grove.
