Jack and Lisa Lamon of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ramsey Lamon, to Michael Todd Yarbrough of Athens, son of Mike and Beth DiGesu of Moulton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Barbara and Jerry Smith of Athens and Eual and Peggy Lamon of Trinity.
She is a 2006 graduate of East Limestone High School and a 2010 graduate of Shelton State Community College where she received a license for cosmetology. She is employed by Dan Tera Salon/Spa as a hairstylist.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jimmy and Carolyn Yarbrough of Moulton and Ann DiGesu of Huntsville and the late Fred DiGesu.
He is a 2003 graduate of East Limestone High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is currently pursuing a second degree at Athens State University. He is employed by Target Distribution Center.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 26 at First Baptist Church in Athens.
