• Anniversary. Pleasant Grove Church Family at 15439 Hasting Road in Athens will celebrate their pastor and first lady’s 17th anniversary at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 18. The Rev. Barbara Clemons of the Alabama Synod will be guest speaker. Contact: Mary Steele 256-216-0660.

• Thanksgiving Dinner.  The public is invited to New Hope Baptist Church at 13110 Mooresville Road in Athens for a Thanksgiving dinner at 6 p.m. today, Nov. 18.

• Women’s Day. New Iberia M.B. Church at 21978 Alabama 99 in Elkmont will hold their first Women’s Day celebration at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. Minister Elizabeth Gray-Raybon will speak and the Gray Sisters will provide the song service. Public invited. Snacks served after the service.
