• Revival. Majestic Chapel is holding a revival at 7 p.m., through Saturday, Oct. 27. Remaining special guests include Michael Gullett, preaching, Oct. 25; The Carter Family, singing, Oct. 26; and Under Grace, singing, Oct. 27. Public invited.

• Coming Home Revival. Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will hold a Coming Home Revival at 6 nightly through Oct. 26. Each night features different reverends representing churches in towns including Gadsden, Huntsville, Russellville, Hartselle and Tuscumbia.

• Southern Splendor Chorus. United We Sing featuring Southern Splendor Chorus with special guests Uncharted will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Athens Bible School’s Rollings-Lovell Auditorium. Admission is $10; $5 for seniors and students. Portion of proceeds go to ABS. Tickets or information: 256-325-6631.

• Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat.  New Hope Baptist Church at 13110 Mooresville Road in Athens will have a Fall Festival at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. The Public is invited and children of all ages can dress in costume.  The fun begins with a Chili Cook-off to go along with hot dogs and other treats. Trunk or Treat begins at 7 followed by a bonfire.

• Education Day. Little Ezekiel M.B. Church at 16439 Lindsey Road in Tanner will hold its Pastor’s Anniversary at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, with guest speaker Pastor John Jude. Pleasant Grove CPCA Church Family is in charge of the service.

• Friends and Family Day. Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church at 27971 Easter Ferry Road in Lester will hold Friends and Family Day at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. The Rev. Patton and the Pleasant Hill Church from Stella, Tenn., is in charge. The Rev. Clarence Park and the Ole Mt. Zion Church from Pulaski, Tenn., will be in charge at 2:30 p.m. Public invited.

• Spaghetti fundraiser. Tanner United Methodist youth is having a spaghetti fundraiser from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. Dine in or carryout. Donations accepted. Proceeds go to Gatlinburg Extreme Youth Camp in December.

• Trunk or Treat. First Church Athens will hold their Trunk or Treat from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at 17175 Lucas Ferry Road. The event includes hot dogs, snacks, hayrides, hot-air balloon bounce and 20-foot slide, best costume prize and best decorated car prize. Contact: 256-232-7710.

• Trunk & Treat. Lamb of God Lutheran Church, located at 11716 County Line Road in Madison, will host a Trunk & Treat event in the church parking lot from 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, for children ages 4 to 14. It will include a hayride, candy and refreshments.

• Hallelujah Jamboree. The Pleasant Grove Fresh Fire Youth Ministry and Senior Pastor John W. Jude present a Hallelujah Jamboree Worship Celebration from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Pleasant Grove Church, 15439 Hastings Road in Athens. Dinner served at 5 p.m. Event features Travis “T-Ack” Acklin of Harvest Time Outreach Ministries, PG's own Anointed Voices Youth Choir, The PG Youth Combined Dance Group and M4JC Modeling Agency.

• Festival. A Halloween festival will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at St. Mark P.B. Church, 740 Sanderfer Road in Athens. Event includes games, hayride, candy and refreshments. Children of all ages can dress in costume. Public invited.
