Cowart festival

The Cowart Elementary Winter Festival is from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 1. A chili and hot dog supper will be served from 5-6:30 p.m.; $5 adults; $3 children. Free crafts for children; pictures with Santa; Christmas shopping. Booths are still available at $25. Call (256) 233-6627.



Charity flea market

The Lincoln Bridgeforth Park Committee is accepting applications for booth rentals for a Nov. 28 Charity Flea Market. A booth is $35 for all day. Call (256) 874-0287.



Jewelry sale

Athens-Limestone Hospital Auxiliary will have a $5 jewelry sale Nov. 23-24, beginning at 7 a.m. each day in the Education Department.



‘We interrupt this program’

Tickets are on sale at $5 each for “We Interrupt this Program …’, a tribute to Pearl Harbor veterans, at the Veterans Museum. The program will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at the senior center.

ABS Boston Butts

Barbecued Boston butts for the SEC Championship Game Day are on sale by the Trojan Athletic Association for $30 each and will be available to pick up on Dec. 5 at the Athens Bible School campus between 8 a.m.-noon.
