Trick-or Treat for food bank
Limestone County Career Technical School student organizations, FBLA, HOSA, and SKILLS USA will be dressed in costumes and trick-or-treating for canned goods and non-perishable items from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in various subdivisions. The donated items will benefit our local food bank.
Used book sale
Friends of Athens-Limestone Public Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the library.
Toys for Tots signup
Toys for Tots signup will be from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the United Way office, 419 S. Marion St. Each family must bring birth certificates, Social Security cards and proof of residence for children age birth to 16. An additional sign-up day will be Nov. 10. Relay for Life kickoff
